You can store almost anything in your unit! For reasons of health and safety, we do not accept certain items. Here is a non-exhaustive list:
What is authorised
- Furniture and bedding such as a grandmother's wardrobe, a child's bed, etc.
- Clothing and household linen such as baby clothes, sheets, etc.
- Small and large electrical appliances such as refrigerators, microwaves, etc.
- Electronic and IT equipment such as computers, televisions, etc.
- Decorative items such as paintings, vases, etc.
- Everyday personal effects such as saucepans, books, etc.
- Document archiving.
What is prohibited
- Perishable products such as foodstuffs like meat.
- Flammable materials that may present a fire or explosion hazard, such as fireworks, aerosols, fuels, matches, etc., must be kept away from the premises.
- Dangerous items such as firearms and ammunition, chemical substances subject to storage regulations, etc.
- Living (or dead) beings, for obvious reasons.
- Anything that is illegal, stolen or smuggled for the same reasons as above.
